I am first-generation Canadian of Irish and Scottish descent and live with my husband Shawn and our twin boys in Port Hardy - the traditional territory of the Kwakiutl First Nation, and current home to the Gwa'sala-'Nakwaxda'xw Nations.

I've had the privilege of working with First Nation communities across BC since 2007. As an interests-based negotiator, strategic planner and facilitator, I seek to bring people and organizations together in collaboration to achieve mutually-beneficial outcomes. In my personal life, I am always striving to be a better ally to Indigenous Canadians and to learn about and advocate on the right side of the issues that matter to them.
